WiSys VentureHomes

WiSys VentureHomes is a developing network of startup hubs that assists entrepreneurs in starting and expanding their firms with community-specific support, in collaboration with UW-Stout and Office on Main. Founders can access a wide range of startup tools at each VentureHome location, including finance, coworking spaces, hands-on programming, and professional advice and mentorship.

The Concierge Service, which offers individualized assistance to entrepreneurs navigating the startup ecosystem, is the centerpiece of the VentureHome experience. Based on their individual needs, founders are connected to the appropriate professionals, groups, and resources, resulting in more than 1,000 recommendations for various services, including funding options, technical guidance, personnel assistance, and mentorship.

The Level Up! The Launchpad program helps early-stage innovators who are just starting by assisting them in building their business concepts and comprehending market potential. The Level Up! Accelerator is a five-month, action-driven program for entrepreneurs who are ready to expand, with an emphasis on gaining market traction, preparing for financing, and customer validation. Over 80 businesses have taken part in these initiatives, transforming concepts into profitable ventures.

Locally, entrepreneurs benefit from coworking spaces that encourage collaboration, creativity, and real-time support; VentureHome also supports founders through its virtual platform, VentureHome Connect, which provides entrepreneurs with access to a statewide network of peers, mentors, and investors—offering the right connections and advice when they need it most.

The VentureHome Pre-Seed Fund gives high-potential firms in the network early-stage funding to spur innovation. This funding helps businesses get from concept to scalable business and acts as a catalyst for fresh ideas. In the last year alone, the network has generated over $3 million in economic value through grants, investment, and revenue from its nine active VentureHome communities around Wisconsin.
